What does the director do?
The director is responsible for the overall idea of what the show will be like. He makes decisions about the interpretation of the play and about how that is going to be presented though the actors and the staging. because the director is responsible for the artistic vision of a production, a key part of his role is meeting and discussing ideas with all the members of the creative team, particuarly the designer.
